These two courses provide students with the knowledge and skills that are needed to maintain Windows, Applications, and Office applications. This certification is for individuals who are required to successfully support end users and to successfully troubleshoot desktop environments running on the Microsoft Windows® operating system.
The MCDST certification is a de facto credential for IT support skills declared by the
National
Workforce
Center
for Emerging Technologies Skill Standards for Information Technology. The certification is focused on validating the knowledge and skill sets of help desk technicians, customer support representatives, PC support specialists, technical support representatives, and technical support specialists.
